9. Technological advances will save us.

Technology can augment and act as an extension of community capacity, but it can also eclipse and replace our indigenous vernacular resources. The challenge then is to ensure that proportionality prevails between non-technological community assets, and technological resources that enable the human community to be more fruitful and ecologically sound.
