19 & 20 November 2015 – ABCD immersion training in Torbay

We continue to support Torbay, where the Big Lottery Ageing Better Fund is funding a project.

There are currently 10 Community Builders working in neighbourhoods in Torbay. The purpose of the immersion training was to provide a safe but challenging environment within which Community Building Practitioners could deepen their practice, and well as celebrating and building our their successes to date.

The immersion experience also provides an in-depth training on Learning Conversations; Asset-Mapping; and the power analysis that underpins Asset-Based Community Development. This training places a strong emphasis on team building and peer to peer learning and possibility generation.
